Health & Treatments

MEDIKA ALBENA (open approximately from 1 May to 30 September, directly connected to the hotel via a corridor), is one of the best and largest Medical & Spa Centers on the Black Sea. It boasts specialists in physiotherapy and manual therapy, masseurs, kinesiotherapists, and phytotherapists. The center offers electrotherapy, phototherapy, thermotherapy, balneotherapy, aromatherapy, inhalations, therapeutic exercise, mud treatments, and beauty services. Facilities include a fitness center, an indoor pool (about 30°C) and an outdoor pool with mineral water, as well as a sauna. Certified by the European Spa Association (ESPA). MEDICA Spa is ISO 9001:2008 certified by German Lloyd. When Medika Albena is closed, all treatments are carried out at Element Spa with the same high quality.

Unique natural remedies - Hypothermal mineral water and highly mineralized medicinal mud are used for conditions such as nervous system disorders, skin diseases, degenerative diseases, and chronic inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

Indications: Diseases of the bones, joints, muscles, and peripheral nervous system.

Contraindications: Acute and infectious diseases, malignant tumors during and after treatment with clinically detectable signs of disease progression, pregnancy, alcohol dependency, dependency on addictive substances, non-healing skin defects, inability to care for oneself and perform daily activities without the help of others, as well as inability to walk independently, urinary and fecal incontinence.

Outdoor pool (approx. May-Oct.) approx. 1,200 sqm, sun terrace, separate children's pool. Two sun loungers and one parasol at the pool and beach from the third row free of charge (cushions approx. €1/day). Children's playground. For a fee: Squash, two tennis courts nearby, bicycle rental.

The Holiday was as we expected it-with great impressions. We were fascinated with everything, the hotel, the food, the stuff, the sea. The overall ambience was outstanding. The hotel was great: nice staff, very good food, great therapeutic treatments and beach nearby. The only thing I would improve is the time of the transfer from the hotel to the airport. We were picked up from the hotel at 7 and the flight was at 9:15. We arrived at the airport at 7:45 and 1.5 hours was close. There were a lot of people checking in and We were nervous that we will miss our flight. I would only improve the transfer time. Otherwise everything was great.
