Location & Surroundings

Bali offers all Indonesian specialties: tropical forests, volcanoes, beaches, and diving areas. Ubud is the cultural centre of the island. The temple complexes and the Monkey Forest invite you to linger and explore.

Dining & Leisure

The "Scene" captivates with a splendid view of the rice terraces and the tropical rainforest. Breakfast à la carte. Private dinners in the integrated wine cellar are available by prior arrangement (at least 24 hours notice). On the wooden terrace of "Swept Away", enjoy light and healthy lunch dishes, afternoon tea, Asian delicacies from late afternoon, and exquisite evening dining, either à la carte or as a 4- or 6-course menu featuring small portions of local dishes in the house style. Half board and full board available as a menu at "Swept Away". Vegetarian dishes are available. Picnic breakfast with homemade bread and pastries, as well as other meals in your own villa, can be arranged upon request. Seafood BBQ, Balinese dinners, and candle-light dinners are available by prior arrangement (for a fee).

Wellness & Spa

Spa at the Samaya (9 a.m. - 10 p.m.) with its own pool and a wide variety of Balinese and other Asian or Ayurvedic treatments, e.g., traditional Balinese massage, 4-hand massage (with techniques from Japan, Thailand, Hawaii, Sweden, and Bali), Shirodhara oil forehead flow, Abhyanga oil massage, Aroma Hot Stone Massage, head, reflexology massage, fruity salt body scrubs, anti-aging facial treatment, manicure and pedicure. Children's massage on request. Treatments can also be carried out in your own villa. Fitness centre.

Free Time

On offer: daily complimentary shuttle service to local shops and restaurants, yoga three times a week (by prior arrangement), guided tours to the village, through nature and to the flooded rice fields.
