The Hatha Yoga training courses at the Somatheeram International Institute of Yoga adhere to the rigorous standards of Yoga Alliance International and Bharat Sevak Samaj, and are suitable for all levels. Upon successful completion, participants receive globally recognized certificates from Yoga Alliance International and Bharat Sevak Samaj. (Fee €100; payment on site). Participants should be self-motivated and open to new experiences. Basic knowledge of yoga philosophy and anatomy is helpful but not essential. During the training, participants must adhere to a vegetarian diet and abstain from meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.Classes are held 6 days a week. The free 7th day can be used for excursions to cultural/spiritual sites. The training is conducted on an individual basis, not necessarily in groups.
