Very well maintained pool

The rooms (deluxe) are large, equipped with very tasteful wooden furniture and are kept very clean by the two ladies in room service and lovingly decorated with flowers (including the bed🙂). Fresh bed linen is provided every three days. We also particularly liked the large and well-kept pool. The name 'Silent Garden' really does say it all. You can find peace and quiet here, surrounded by tropical trees and flowers, yet you can quickly reach the sea by tuk-tuk or the lively towns of Aluthgama or Bentota. Mr. Jeevan also often offers excursions. We always looked forward to returning to the peaceful atmosphere of the Silent Garden afterwards.

We appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff as something very special. There is no mass processing in this small resort. I felt very comfortable and at home here as it was a very warm welcome. It was really hard to say goodbye! All wishes are fulfilled with a smile.

I have now awarded five stars on all points and I have done so wholeheartedly. I had a wonderful rest at the Silent Garden and would like to come back as it is very beneficial for my health. The beauty of the place, the warm friendliness of Mr. Jeevan, his family and the staff and the professional competence of the doctor and the therapists made my stay at the Silent Garden an experience.

The Ayurvedic food tasted very good. It was well-balanced and dosa-friendly, and I had the recipe for the green soup for breakfast given to me. There were wonderful fruits, coconut water, and at lunch and dinner various vegetables, rice, dhal and, for non-vegetarians, fish and chicken. Once a week there is a cooking demonstration. At Christmas and New Year's Eve there was a great buffet.

The whole Silent Garden complex is very beautiful, well thought out and ideal and beneficial for an Ayurveda retreat. The treatment rooms, which are open to nature, are also something special. During the massage you can hear birdsong and monkeys occasionally drop by. The large yoga hall, which is open to the forest, is just as beautiful. You are in the middle of nature here. The young, dedicated and very competent Ayurveda doctor, Dr. Harshini, lives in the resort and is always available. You have a daily consultation with her. She responds to all questions and needs... with charm and an enchanting smile. Twice in the evening she gave an interesting lecture on various aspects of Ayurveda. She was present during some of the treatments and supervised them. At the end of the healing therapy, you have a longer final consultation where she again gave special recommendations for life at home (you also get it in written form). I also felt in good hands with my experienced therapist Sandya. I trusted her and Dr. Harshini completely. I really appreciated her calm and friendly manner!

Special requests were always fulfilled. Non-vegetarians also got their money's worth. The food was very healthy and delicious.
