The RAKxa Wellness & Medical Retreat is idyllically situated on the Bang Krachao peninsula, also known as Bangkok's "Green Lung", just about 15 miles south of the city centre. This protected island, covered in jungle within the Chao Phraya River, offers a tranquil, nature-connected setting ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation. Despite its proximity to the bustling metropolis and with views over the Bangkok skyline, it feels like a different world, far removed from urban hustle and bustle. The main restaurant UNAM serves creative, Mediterranean-inspired dishes with organic ingredients, sustainably sourced meat, and high-quality seafood - all in the spirit of healthy eating. Sugar- and flour-free desserts deliciously round off the menu without compromising on health. The specialty restaurant UKHAO is dedicated to the traditional cuisine of Thailand and its neighboring countries. In artfully composed menus, fresh wild herbs, aromatic spices, and a deep connection to nature are celebrated - a feast for the senses and a tribute to the culinary diversity of Southeast Asia. The experience is completed by a quiet, stylish Tea Lounge, where carefully selected herbal teas contribute to relaxation and inner balance. All meals are served as three-course menus: Thai cuisine for lunch and Western-inspired dishes for dinner. All dishes are halal-certified, meaning pork is avoided.
