The paint is off at this hotel! Much outdated, in some rooms it rains in, hot water is available if you're lucky. If you're not looking for luxury, but prefer modest surroundings and want to relax in a spacious complex with lots of nature and animals, you're still in good hands here.

The service in contrast to the material substance is top. As a Central European, it is a blessing to have such friendly and hard-working people around you. Should extraordinary situations/accidents occur, however, you must expect that the management will try to save its own skin first, despite the superficial friendliness.

The treatments are beneficial. The treatment program has a systematic procedure. Personal wishes are also taken into account. The biggest drawback is communication. The doctors and therapists only have a very limited knowledge of English. It is very difficult to make yourself understood because of certain complaints/diagnoses. It was also not possible to find out what juices and pills we swallow every day. For those who can give up control, it's fine here. If you are seriously ill and looking for a cure, you should look for a specialized Ayurveda center with doctors trained in Western medicine. There is definitely some catching up to do here. Another annoyance is the shortage of staff. Underpaid therapists work all day, 7 days a week, even when they are injured. Tour operators should hold the owners/management more accountable here so that they create fair working conditions and share our money fairly. Otherwise, it all smacks of neo-colonialism.

Wide range of tridosha curries, chicken and fish every day. Salads and soups. However, the allocation of the three doshas to the dishes did not seem very consistent. Sometimes the dal was with Pitta, then the same dal with Vatta. Overall, there is little information about the Ayurveda aspect of the dishes. There is also no coordination between the hotel and the Ayurveda Center in this regard.

Beautiful large pool, which also serves as a watering place for animals. Great park area. Sometimes a gang of monkeys visits the grounds, herons sit at the edge of the pool, the peacock strolls into the dining room. Varans can also be seen. Great for lovers of peace and nature. Unfortunately, I was initially quite shocked by the design and cleanliness of the Ayurveda center. It is far from Western standards. Very functional treatment booths with worn mats, no "feel-good decorations" to create an aesthetic atmosphere. Reduced to the essentials: relaxing massages with friendly and competent masseuses.

Hotel is a bit outdated, but the super nice staff more than makes up for it!

The reception was very warm and the hotel staff always tried to make our time as pleasant as possible. The rooms were clean. Only the internet connection was not optimal.

The selection and the food were very good.

The pool was great. The Ayuveda therapeutic spa department was nice, but could be a bit quieter during the treatments.
