Your Ayurveda Resort

The Oasis Aramaya Ayurveda Beach Resort is located close to a sandy beach and just a stone's throw from the vibrant village of Ambalangoda. The facility, complete with a pool, garden, and shade-giving palms, is situated right on the beach and offers a simple, local setting. The pleasantly warm climate is ideal for a relaxing Ayurveda therapy.

Location & Surroundings

Sri Lanka, the tropical island nation off the coast of India, entices with its rich cultural heritage and stunning vegetation, as well as the traditional healing art of Ayurveda. Ambalangoda is a vibrant coastal town in the southwest of the island, known for its traditional Sinhalese mask carving and the associated museum. Another unique feature of the town is the naturally formed rock pool on the coast.

Dining & Leisure

For Ayurveda guests, a rich Ayurvedic diet with Ayurvedic teas and juices is served. The diet is adjusted by the chefs in consultation with the treating Ayurveda doctor to the doshas, to achieve optimal therapy results.

Ayurveda Center

In the spacious Ayurveda Center with 2 Ayurveda doctors and several therapists, classic Ayurveda regeneration and Panchakarma detox treatments are conducted. The center is located next to the lobby and the pool and features 9 treatment cabins, 3 Ayurvedic steam baths, 4 herbal baths, and 2 acupuncture rooms. On request, Ayurveda cooking classes are also offered.

Free Time

As the resort is located directly by the sea, you can enjoy your free time close to the water, for example, on long beach walks. After consulting with the doctor, half-day excursions can be undertaken during the therapy, for example, to Ambalangoda, Hikkaduwa (about 15 km) or Galle (about 35 km). Excursions by taxi or tuk-tuk can be arranged by the hotel for a fee.

The boutique Ayurveda resort has been endowed with a unique charm through the individual design of each room. Each of the 13 cosy rooms is comfortably furnished, including 4 rooms with frontal and 2 with lateral sea view on the first floor, as well as 7 standard rooms on the ground floor, some with a skylight to the corridor and/or an open bathroom.
