Located directly on the picturesque coast in the heart of the therapy district of Ustronie Morskie, the lovingly designed and family-run Spa Hotel Max (equivalent to a 3-3.5 star hotel category), is just 50 meters from the sandy beach and about a 10-minute walk from the town center. It offers a stunning view of the Baltic Sea coast. The spa hotel exudes a familial atmosphere combined with tasteful, modern decor.
Your Spa Town
Ustronie Morskie (Henkenhagen), located just about 7.5 miles east of Kolberg (Kolobrzeg), is considered one of the most beautiful seaside resorts on the Amber Coast of the Baltic Sea. The approximately 6.2 miles long beach features broad, fine sandy stretches interspersed with steep sections. Here, you can enjoy stunning views of the Baltic Sea and the unique maritime climate with fresh, iodine-rich air, especially near the surf zone - ideal for respiratory ailments, but also simply for relaxation by the sea, for example, during extended walks. Salt Grotto with Graduation Tower and Saltwater Inhalation:
The Max Health Resort SPA has opened a salt grotto with a graduation tower. The pleasant temperature of the room, with subdued lighting and relaxing music, allows you to unwind and escape everyday stress.
Additional inhalation treatments can be booked or included as part of the therapy program. For the saltwater inhalation, the original Kolberg brine is used.
The original Kolberg brine has a tradition spanning over 1,000 years. The city of Kolberg owes its fame and wealth to it. From the 7th to the 18th century, the brine sources were used for salt extraction, and from the 19th century onwards, the brine began to be used for therapy treatments.
The original Kolberg brine is a relic water, estimated to be over 2 million years old. It contains unique microelements, mainly from the salts deposited under Kolberg, which are the remnants of an ancient ocean from 300 million years ago.
The original Kolberg brine comes from source No. 7 named "Warcisław" and has a certificate confirming its therapeutic properties, issued by the National Institute of Public Health - PZH. Based on test results, it has been defined as mineral medicinal water with a specific iodine content of 5.63%.

The hotel has a very nice ambience, the cuisine, the buffet and the service of the waiters are to be praised. The staff throughout the hotel was friendly. Room service can improve. The treatments were good, the time management very effective . There was nothing going on in the town itself in March, so no culture.
