Nestled among avocado and mango plantations, on a hill overlooking the sea (about 1.2 miles as the crow flies), you will enjoy a Spanish-Arabic ambiance and Indian way of life free from electrosmog at Luna y Sol. The property, with its main and guest houses, stretches over 4 spacious garden levels. In summer, the coast can be reached on foot via a dry riverbed. Behind the house, you can directly hike into the mountains. The estate was lovingly designed according to the principles of Vastu Shastra, the 5,000-year-old Indian building tradition, combining hotel, seminar house, and naturopathic practice under one roof. It is managed by the two owners, who take loving care of their guests. Here, you can find new joy in life, recharge, and regenerate. The hotel is especially popular among guests from England.

Location & Surroundings

East of Malaga lies one of the most beautiful areas of the Costa del Sol. The region is characterised by gentle hills, fertile mango plantations, and views of the Mediterranean Sea. It is distinguished by a mild Mediterranean climate and a natural, idyllic landscape that invites relaxation, nestled in a unique climate zone in Europe. Even in the dry high summer, the area remains wonderfully green thanks to the numerous fruit plantations.

Dining & Leisure

Fresh ingredients are combined according to Ayurvedic principles with Andalusian elements into vegetarian buffets suitable for all doshas, with fish or chicken available upon request. Covered breakfast terrace with Wi-Fi, used as a conservatory in the colder months. Garden snack bar with fresh fruit juices, tea, and coffee.

Ayurveda Center

Here you will find a holistic range of services for health & wellbeing. A team of experienced therapists led by naturopath Seba Maria Blass, who is also a Reiki master and has intensified her Ayurveda training in India, among other places, takes care of your needs. In addition to Ayurveda treatments for detoxification or treatment of health issues, Reiki/Tibetan healing, yoga, meditation, and occasional seminars are offered. Member of the Association of European Ayurveda Physicians and Therapists (VEAT). Yoga is included with Ayurveda treatment and optionally bookable for stays without treatment (approx. €20 per yoga session, payable on site).

Free Time

Lounge with library and TV. On the 2nd garden level, a saltwater pool and sunbathing lawn. A quiet zone leads directly to the large seminar and yoga hall, whose warm, tranquil atmosphere is ideal for creativity, concentration, and leisure, even for groups. Fig and orange trees, which guests are welcome to enjoy, grow on the 3rd level - all guaranteed organic. The lowest level with a large lawn is an optimal place for yoga, Qi Gong, or Zen archery. Occasional excursions e.g., "white villages", whale watching (for a fee). Activity programme with yoga, Zen archery, Smovey movement programme, Yoga nidra, trip to the traditional market in Torre del Mar (approx. once a week). Cooking and herbal courses in Nov./Dec. (on request).

I spent 8 days at this Ayurveda facility and can only say that I recovered magnificently! The hosts are incredibly caring and warm, which makes the stay very special. The food was simply unbeatable - fresh, healthy and extremely tasty. The treatments were excellent and the yoga classes did me a world of good. Everything was perfectly coordinated and I felt completely at ease. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back! Thank you very much for this great time! Kind regards Ivana
