Pointe aux Piments is just about 9 miles from Grand Baie, a vibrant coastal town with numerous shopping and nightlife options. The capital, Port Louis, is approximately 25 minutes away. As the economic and cultural hub with one of the busiest ports in the Indian Ocean, the city impresses with its diverse cultural mix. This includes traditional Chinese architecture, the Jummah Mosque, Tamil temples, and the Anglican Saint James Cathedral. A visit to the central market is also worthwhile: here, you'll find a wide selection of fresh foods, textiles, and souvenirs. The famous Botanical Garden is another highlight, offering tranquil walks.

The resort boasts four restaurants offering international, Mauritian, Indian, and Asian cuisine. The "Nomad" is the main restaurant and features a terrace with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Here, guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet and, if booked with half board, dinner. The Indian restaurant "Kumin" opens in the evening and serves authentic Indian dishes such as aromatic curries and classic tandoori dishes with bold, soothing flavours. "Waves" is the resort's beachfront restaurant. Light meals are served at lunch, and in the evening, it transforms into a seafood grill kitchen, enhanced with island spices and regional products. "Jade" offers Asian fusion cuisine inspired by the flavours of Japan, Thailand, and Cambodia. The resort also has three bar areas, one of which is in the Nirvana Adults-only section. Each offers a unique atmosphere to celebrate and enjoy social moments with family and friends.

The resort features three outdoor pools with sun loungers and umbrellas, including a separate adults-only pool exclusively for guests of the Nirvana rooms. At the Explore Spa, you'll find multiple treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam room, a Jacuzzi, a plunge pool, and a relaxation area. The offerings are complemented by massages, including Ayurvedic massages, as well as beauty treatments. For active guests, a 24-hour fitness centre is available. Additionally, a yoga deck offers yoga sessions in a serene atmosphere.

The Le Méridien Kids Club (ages 4-12) is located right on the beach overlooking the lagoon and is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Babysitting is available on request and for a fee.
