Tepla Monastery - closely linked to the history of the town of Marienbad (about 7.5 miles away). Becov - a Gothic castle, Renaissance palace, and Baroque chateau with the world-famous St. Maur reliquary, a Romanesque attraction from the early 13th century, located 16 miles from Marienbad. Loket - a Gothic royal castle (Elbogen is a destination along the "Castle Road" that leads from Baden-Württemberg through various German states and the Czech Republic to Prague). Kladruby Monastery - with a Baroque basilica, one of the oldest Bohemian monasteries (about 28 miles). Königswart Castle - a Romanesque castle from the early 13th century, a museum of history - listed as part of European heritage. Night tours are among the most popular (about 6.8 miles).

Walks in Marienbad - Marienbad is a city in a sea of green, where you can find a new and interesting hike every day. 18-hole Royal Golf Club Marienbad (about 1.9 miles). Soos - a nature reserve in the Eger Basin. It is protected for its bog, which has become internationally known for its natural mofettes and mineral springs (about 15.5 miles).
