The Spa Hotel Bad Bocklet offers an inspiring setting for holistic regeneration, prevention, and self-discovery. Here, Ayurveda, Kneipp treatments, classic therapy medicine, and spiritual elements such as yoga merge into a powerful combination. The complex, consisting of several buildings, encloses the centerpiece - the beautifully planted therapy garden. Unwind in the café with a terrace or at the Balthasar Neumann healing water spring, the strongest steel spring in Europe. The jewel of the complex is the Spa | Bathhouse. The Bavarian State Spa Bad Bocklet is part of the health region "Bäderland Bayerische Rhön". Its location between Fulda (about 37 miles) and Würzburg (about 43 miles) in the unique UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Rhön offers numerous excursions and hiking and cycling trails. The historic therapy park (about 42 acres) is situated in one of the romantic river bends of the Franconian Saale.

Dining & Leisure

Indulge in vital, fresh, and regional cuisine. Our Ayurveda specialists craft authentic dishes tailored to our guests for the Ayurveda programme. Residents enjoy a lavish breakfast buffet, an evening menu or buffet as part of half board, and a vital snack in the afternoon with full board. Vegetarian and lactose-free options are also available. Upon request, lunch can be added on the day of arrival (approx. 30€/day (approx. UK £26 / USD $32)).

Wellness & Spa

The centrepiece of the facility is the modern spa | bathhouse (approx. 2,330 sqm) featuring an indoor pool (approx. 7 x 13 m), sauna area with organic sauna, Finnish sauna, steam bath, plunge pool, ice fountain, and a room of silence. A gymnastics room is also available. Wellness treatments can be booked on site.

Health & Treatments

Our natural remedies include peat and the healing waters of the "Stahlquelle", rich in carbon dioxide and iron, which stimulate circulation and metabolism. Facilities include a Kneipp bath, balneology, peat treatments, and "steel baths". The spa hotel also houses a physiotherapy practice, with a local spa doctor available.

Indications:

Respiratory system, musculoskeletal system, rheumatism, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, nervous system, exhaustion, and as a preventive measure against burnout.

Ayurveda Center

English-speaking Indian Ayurveda specialists and therapists from Kerala, India. All Ayurveda treatments such as Abhyanga oil massage, Shirodhara oil forehead flow, Pinda Sveda herbal compress massage, and various packages with relaxation and detox therapies are individually tailored and performed according to traditional methods by the Ayurveda specialists. Participate in daily yoga. The arrival days for Ayurveda programmes are Sunday to Friday.

Indications for Ayurveda:

Arthritis, blood pressure (high/low), skin diseases, rheumatic complaints, stomach and intestinal problems, back pain, mental stress, insomnia, tinnitus, and more.

Free Time

For leisure activities, there are golf courses in Bad Kissingen and Maria Bildhausen, as well as an extensive network of paths for walking and cycling.
