An individual program based on Panchakarma for stays of 14 nights or more. Authentic medicines are used, prepared on-site following centuries-old traditional methods in accordance with Ayurvedic guidelines. During the initial consultation with the Ayurveda doctor, the individual focus of the treatment is determined:

Weight Management includes special treatments such as Udwarthana - herbal powder massage, full body massage with special oils, Langana - an Ayurvedic diet program, and slimming tea.

Stress Management features various relaxation treatments like Shirodhara, Shirolepa (herbal head pack), and Shirovasti & Sarvangadhara (full body oil pour treatment) to overcome stress, anxiety, and exhaustion. Integrating psychological support with the practice of yoga and meditation promotes the creation of inner peace.

Anti Aging for detoxification and body rejuvenation. It includes herbal medicine to boost body energy and immunity, while Pinda Sweda (milk rice and herbal pack) enhances flexibility and endurance.

Panchakarma - Detox cleanses and rejuvenates the body, mind, and consciousness, including a variety of therapies such as Vamana, Virechana, Vasti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana.

Post-Covid Immune Booster strengthens the immune system by improving digestion, balancing hormonal functions, supporting healthy liver function, and enhancing metabolism.

Skin Conditions are treated in Ayurveda with a combination of healthy diet, balanced lifestyle, exercise, meditation, and various Ayurvedic therapies, such as traditional Ayurvedic massage.

Arthritic & Rheumatic Issues require effective Ayurvedic therapy to reduce joint pain, swelling, inflammation, and improve metabolic disorders.

Less than two hours' drive from Colombo Airport, the journey takes you through lush greenery, past rice fields and small villages. Kur Resort Lanka am See is situated in Bentota in a tranquil setting by a lakeside. The hotel's own TukTuk shuttle reaches Bentota's beaches in about 15 minutes.

In the restaurant with outdoor area, enjoy vegetarian and vegan Ayurvedic meals tailored to your dosha and treatment plan. Your chef has 20 years of experience in the art of Ayurvedic cuisine. All products are sourced from regional, organic farming. Weekly cooking demonstrations and dietary workshops are held to promote a healthy lifestyle post-treatment.

Ayurveda Center

The experienced Ayurveda medical team combines comprehensive expertise and is available around the clock. The team is led by a particularly renowned and long-experienced Ayurveda doctor, supported by a doctor trained in India with versatile expertise in classical Ayurveda practice, and another physician who completed her studies at a university in Sri Lanka. Together with qualified therapists, they ensure holistic and individually tailored care at the highest level. Based on your medical history, the doctors create a customised treatment plan - available upon request before your arrival. Daily treatments and massages are conducted at the Ayurveda Center, in open pavilions, in the garden, or in your accommodation. Accompanying yoga and meditation are individually integrated into the therapy plan and support the healing process. Before your departure, you will also receive a one-hour dietary advice session by a qualified, German-speaking nutritionist to sustainably integrate the positive effects of the therapy into your daily life. Further consultations, such as via Zoom, are possible after your return.

Experience the untouched nature and its beauty. To cool off after a therapy day, the resort offers an outdoor pool and a barefoot path in the garden. Kur Resort Lanka am See can arrange a tuk-tuk to the nearby Bentota beaches (about 15 minutes), where a section of the beach with hotel-owned loungers is available. The hotel is also happy to organize excursions to temples, local towns, or its own herb garden.

Beautiful facilities, very friendly and courteous staff, wonderful treatments, perfect for relaxing. Nevertheless, it is a bit of work for the body. The yoga in the morning is at a very low level. Very tasty food, good care from the doctor and nutritional advice. There are excursions on offer, but in general it's not meant for touring, but for winding down.

The vacation was a wonderful trip from start to finish. As a guest, you immediately felt welcome and were warmly received. I particularly liked the way the team treated the guests and - very importantly! - also with each other. The atmosphere was always relaxed, the service was always friendly and very courteous. As a guest, I always felt that I was in good hands. Every wish was practically read from your eyes before you expressed it.

Hotel

The hotel is embedded in nature by a lake. A total of 12 small houses, the guests' rooms, are in harmony with nature. The rooms are cleaned daily and are always clean and well maintained, as are the other rooms (therapy center, lobby, dining area, outdoor area, pool, etc.) and the surroundings of the huge garden. There are countless plants and flowers in the garden, which provide a wonderful environment for native birds and animals. The growing fruits and herbs are freshly prepared daily in the hotel's Ayurvedic kitchen. The food is brought to each guest's table. If the portion size is not sufficient, you can order more at any time.

Service

The staff are always friendly and always up for a chat if time permits. The guest's well-being is always the priority! The team is very friendly and anticipates your every wish. Nothing seems impossible.

Treatments

In my opinion, Dr. Charima is very competent. Her pulse diagnosis and consultation always gave me the feeling that she knows her trade. She has years of experience, which she applies with heart and mind. She takes time for the daily consultations and always expresses her opinion in a friendly, competent and clear manner. The massage therapists are also excellent! No matter what form of massage is being treated.... every movement is done with consideration for the individual client's sensitivities. A customer with Parkinson's was able to walk independently again at the end of the therapy, an incredible success for Dr. Charima's team and the customer!

Board type

The chef deserves an award! The dishes are tastefully prepared and always attractively presented and brought to the guest's table. The dishes (what do we eat) and their positive effect on the body are explained. The information is laminated on slides and can be viewed by the guest at any time. We also learn something about Ayurvedic cuisine. The cuisine is very varied, from breakfast to dinner.

Wellness area

The pool, healing therapies and spa area is also always clean, as every guest moves barefoot through the area. In the upper area on the terrace, head, shoulders and neck are massaged, with a magnificent view of the lake. The massage tables and the doctor's room and medicine kitchen are located in the lower area. Here too, absolute cleanliness is guaranteed in a feel-good atmosphere.
