Buchinger therapeutic fasting is a liquid-only therapy. It offers a time for inner reflection, physical rejuvenation, and gentle detoxification.

Your Health Center
The Clinic & Health Center at the Spa Park is a health facility with an attached Specialized Clinic for Orthopedics as well as Natural Healing Methods and a Center for Conservative Holistic Pain Therapy. The charming and venerable building is centrally located on the main spa promenade, directly opposite the spacious, beautifully planted spa park with its old trees and a historic graduation tower.

In the heart of Germany, nestled between the Rhön and Vogelsberg, lies the traditional spa town of Bad Salzschlirf - a mineral and mud spa since 1838. Lovingly preserved half-timbered houses, romantic alleys, Art Nouveau buildings, a spa park with ancient trees, refined cafes, well-maintained guest houses, and the promenade hall with its healing spring, all invite guests to relax, unwind, and continually discover something new!
Dining & Leisure
The cuisine enjoys an excellent reputation and can be tailored to individual preferences. The goal is to use natural, wholesome, and nutrient-rich ingredients to create healthy meals. Full board includes a diverse and abundant breakfast buffet with items such as homemade and certified organic mueslis, a lunch menu with a salad buffet, and a hot/cold evening buffet. Special dietary options for diabetics and vegetarians are available. Lactose-free and gluten-free meals can be arranged in advance. Fasting guests dine in the "Blaues Wunder" Bistro, and a drinking water dispenser is available in the restaurant.

Fit & Vital Health Club
In the public Health Club, you'll find an indoor pool (approx. 30°C) spanning roughly 110 sqm, available alongside a sauna (exclusively for hotel guests in the morning) and a Kneipp pool, all accessible until late evening. Courses in aqua fitness, full-body workouts, fat burning, meditation, fascia fitness, yoga, back-focused yoga, Tai Chi, and are held in the pool, fitness room, and the great outdoors. Additionally, there is a large gym equipped with modern cardio and strength training equipment, offering functional training with the SYNRGY360 system - effectively tailored to your fitness needs. The Medical Wellness Lounge (Mon.-Fri.) offers soothing massages, hay flower and mud packs, comforting baths, and packages with natural cosmetics.
Health & Treatments
High professional expertise awaits you at the Therapy Center, accessible via two flights of stairs or an elevator. The center specializes in orthopedics, rheumatology, chronic pain and exhaustion (burnout), naturopathy, and psychosomatics. Services include health check-ups, lifestyle advice, diagnostics, laboratory tests, psychotherapy, physiotherapy, movement therapy, natural moor therapy, osteopathy, phytotherapy, and a large physiotherapy department, among others. Alkaline fasting and therapeutic fasting according to Buchinger. Professional dietary advice and coaching, led by an experienced Dipl. Oecotrophologist. Many tips from the teaching kitchen are available for home use, to continue the newly adopted lifestyle.
Free Time
Guided tours, hikes, and bike rides in the nearby UNESCO Rhön Biosphere Reserve or the Vogelsberg Nature Park are part of the programme. Excursions are offered to the Baroque city of Fulda with its cathedral and historic old town. Explore the extraordinary castle town of Schlitz with its five castles or the magnificent half-timbered town of Lauterbach.

Perfectly recovered, relaxed, relieved, inspired and pain-free. If you are looking for great therapists and a dedicated team in a village setting, this is the place for you. Those who just need a little wellness and spa feeling in a stylish ambience should take advantage of other offers.
Hotel
It is a clinic, i.e. the rooms are simple. Tiptop clean, but with signs of wear. From the outside with the faded charm of the bathroom architecture of a bygone era, inside functional, sanitary and sporty in very appealing condition.

Balanced, varied, sophisticated, suitable - simply great!
Board type
Self-pay patients and rehab patients mingle in the building. The latter seem to be very focused on food, so that you sometimes feel reminded of Reinhard Mey - and lose out.
