Location & Surroundings

The Mühlviertel granite region is characterised by pristine nature, powerful spots, and expansive viewpoints. Gentle hills, forests, and striking granite formations create ideal conditions for activity and relaxation. Around Rohrbach, numerous hiking areas of varying difficulty levels are available. Directly by the hotel, the Mühltal loop and the Panorama trail run along spruce forests, small streams, and meadow landscapes. A special highlight is the approximately six-kilometre walk to the Danube as well as a trip to the impressive Schlögener Loop, one of the most famous natural landmarks of the region.

Dining & Leisure

The breakfast buffet available until 11 a.m. includes bread, jams, cheese, porridge, fruit, various types of milk, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee, and a variety of teas. At 2 p.m., soup and spreads are served. The evening buffet features vegetarian dishes, a vegan option, and salad. Water, Sonnentor tea, and fruit are available throughout the day. Other beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) can be purchased on site. Lactose-free and gluten-free options are available upon request. Kleebauer Hof is a member of the Veggie Hotels.

Wellness & Spa

From the natural swimming pond, gaze into the distance at the gently rolling landscape of the Mühlviertel. For your well-being, there is a pine wood sauna and, for a fee, a selection of massages. On the hotel's Chakra Trail, discover fascinating insights into the world of chakras.

Yoga

The open yoga program consists of two daily yoga sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours. The sessions are scheduled before breakfast (around 7:30 a.m.) and before dinner (around 4:30 p.m.), ensuring ample time for daytime activities such as hiking or excursions. The yoga sessions are suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners - no prior knowledge is required. Exact times will be announced on site. The program begins with the afternoon yoga session on the day of arrival and concludes with the morning yoga session and breakfast on the day of departure. Yoga mats are available, but you are welcome to bring your own.

The yoga retreat in the mountains is designed as an open program, meaning guests of various yoga levels can arrive and depart on different days and join the ongoing yoga program. Each week features a different yoga instructor, ensuring a variety of yoga styles. Please contact us if you require more information.

Kleebauer Animal World

Kleebauer Hof is home to many four-legged friends. A (usually enamoured) pair of ponies, including offspring, a band of furry noses, and a group of alpacas demonstrate how to live the good life. Unlike the two porcupines, who are often on the hunt for food and turn night into day with their nocturnal activities. During yoga sessions, it's not uncommon for one of the farm cats to join in.

Free Time

The 90 km long Granite Pilgrim's Path passes close to the hotel. A walk to the Danube (6 km away) and a trip to the Schlögener Schlinge are highlights of the stay. Other popular leisure activities in the region include mountain biking, , and in winter, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Electric mopeds for exploring the surrounding area can be rented on site (for a fee).

The Kleebauer Hof is an oasis of peace. You could really relax and were spoiled with good food. The other participants were all very welcoming and it was easy to get into conversation. The entire complex is beautifully laid out and well maintained.

The Kleberhof is a place of peace and relaxation. The food is wonderfully delicious and the entire staff is very attentive. The animals are an absolute enrichment and you can feel completely at ease there.
