Jeris Lakeside Resort in Detail
Your Wellness Resort
The Jeris Lakeside Resort blends the charm of a traditional wilderness lodge with modern comforts: cosy rooms and log cabins, regional cuisine, and warm, family-friendly service. A standout feature is the Arctic Sauna World, a unique sauna area by the lake, where guests can enjoy various themed saunas and - in winter - a refreshing ice bath. Whether it's Northern Lights nights, snowshoe hikes, cross-country skiing and husky tours in winter, or tranquility, clear air and nature experiences in summer - the Jeris Lakeside Resort offers a restorative retreat for active connoisseurs and nature lovers all year round.
Location & Surroundings
Jeris Lakeside Resort is idyllically located on the shores of Lake Jerisjärvi, surrounded by the untouched nature of Lapland. Just a few kilometres from Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, the accommodation is the ideal starting point for outdoor activities such as hiking, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing. In winter, the Northern Lights and snow-covered forests beckon, while in summer, the midnight sun and clear lakes invite you to swim and relax.
Dining & Leisure
The restaurant at Jeris Lakeside Resort offers fresh, regional cuisine and a rich breakfast buffet. In the evening, enjoy traditional dishes from Lapland and international classics. The bar serves refreshing drinks and snacks in a cosy atmosphere.
Wellness & Spa
At Jeris Lakeside Resort, nature and relaxation converge. After an active day in Lapland's winter wonderland, the Arctic Sauna World invites you to unwind. Four uniquely designed saunas, inspired by Finnish mythology, offer soothing warmth and space to breathe. Between sauna sessions, a refreshing dip in Lake Jerisjärvi provides the quintessential Finnish contrast of heat and cold: on the sandy beach in summer, and through a safe ice hole in winter.
Here, you experience Finnish sauna culture in its most authentic form - a place where body and mind can relax and the silence of Lapland is felt most intensely.
Free Time
Jeris Lakeside Resort is the perfect starting point for activities in every season. In winter, cross-country ski trails right outside the accommodation, skiing in nearby Levi, snowmobile tours, and snowshoe hikes invite exciting adventures. In summer, guests can hike, cycle, fish, or canoe on Lake Jerisjärvi. Additionally, guided tours to the Arctic Lapland highlights, Northern Lights expeditions, and wildlife and bird watching offer unforgettable experiences. After an active day, the Arctic Sauna World provides relaxing moments.
