The hotel restaurant "Kreuther Stuben" impresses with its diverse menu selection, offering delights for every palate. Here, you can enjoy regional and international specialties. The kitchen team prioritises local, seasonal produce and high-quality ingredients. In the morning, indulge in a lavish breakfast buffet, and in the evening, if you opt for half board, a choice of a 3-course menu or a buffet dinner (at the chef's discretion).

Additionally, massages and cosmetic treatments are available in 3 treatment rooms (10 a.m. - 6 p.m.).

Fitness & Courses

In the modern fitness area (approximately 200 sqm, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.), you can engage in active exercise. The gym is equipped with machines for cardio, strength, and functional training. Treadmills, cross trainers, spinning bikes, free weights, fitness tubes, and plyo boxes offer a variety of training options.

Free Time

The idyllic location of the hotel offers numerous leisure activities and is the perfect starting point for nature activities. Hike along well-marked trails that traverse the forests and fields of the lower Vilstal and the Upper Palatinate Jura. Or cycle along the scenic Five Rivers Cycle Path, which passes directly by Gut Matheshof. The hotel also offers bicycle storage, e-bike rental (approx. €39/day, approx. UK £34 / USD $42), and charging facilities for e-bikes. On request, the hotel provides discounted green fees at nearby golf courses.

Great hotel, fantastic gym, wonderful 25-meter pool that we had almost entirely to ourselves, the food was good, and the location was great. It was a dream fitness retreat.

We were lucky that the hotel wasn't fully booked, so the pools weren't crowded either. The water temperature was very pleasant: 28 degrees in the indoor pool and 32 degrees in the outdoor pool. The saunas and gym were also very well-equipped.

Relaxing days surrounded by greenery. The Matheshof is a high-quality, elegant wellness & spa hotel with a surprisingly great fitness room and a spacious sauna and spa area. Highly recommended.
