The hotel is nestled between Koblenz and Trier, in Senheim-Senhals, a charming winemaking village on the Moselle River, renowned for its picturesque setting amidst the vineyards. With its historic half-timbered houses and winding alleys, the village exudes a unique, quaint charm. Senheim is one of the oldest wine villages along the Moselle and has a long-standing tradition in viticulture. Hikers and cyclists will find well-maintained paths around Senheim, leading to some of the most beautiful viewpoints in the region, including the Moselsteig and the Moselle Cycle Path.

Indulge in a lavish breakfast buffet (8:00 - 10:00 a.m.) at the Treidelpfad Restaurant, featuring regional delights such as Hunsrück eggs and countrywoman's liver sausage, as well as grape juice directly from Mosel vineyards. Also enjoy fresh fruit salad, tomato-mozzarella, assorted cheeses and cold cuts, homemade chocolate spread, and much more! Feel free to assemble a packed lunch from the breakfast buffet for your day out. Please inform the service staff in advance (for a fee). Light lunches such as soups and salads are available from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., and home-baked cakes until 4:00 p.m. Additionally, savour the unique view from the terrace, whether over a midday coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

The daily freshly prepared menu is available from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Vegetarian or fully vegan options are offered upon request. There is also a daily changing menu featuring regional ingredients like grapes and red vineyard peaches.

This method, developed by naturopath Sabine Wacker, is based on the principle of consuming only alkaline-forming foods. These primarily include fruits, vegetables, herbs, sprouts, seeds, and nuts. In contrast, acid-forming foods such as meat, fish, dairy products, grains, sugar, alcohol, and heavily processed foods are strictly avoided.

The goal is to free the body from excess acids that can arise from a stressful lifestyle, unhealthy diet, or other burdens. Over-acidification is often associated with various ailments such as fatigue, skin problems, digestive disorders, or joint pain. By consciously avoiding acid-forming foods and consuming alkaline foods, the acid-base balance is restored, allowing the body to regenerate. The advantage of the Wacker Method is that it does not require abstaining from solid food during fasting, making this form of fasting suitable for everyday life.

The spa area impresses with its unique location in the wine cellar of Villa Spa, dating back to 1894, and is just a few metres across the street. The sauna area, featuring three saunas: Finnish sauna, bio sauna, and steam bath, invites you to relax in a soothing relaxation room along with a range of massages and beauty treatments (at a charge). The relaxation experience continues outside at Villa Spa. The surrounding garden, with its lounging options, offers an additional oasis of tranquility. Relax in the outdoor pool, spanning an impressive 5 x 20 metres. Sun loungers, a maxi bar, and a pool house with shower and toilet are available for your convenience. Additionally, yoga sessions are typically offered twice a week.

Nature enthusiasts can explore the surroundings on well-marked hiking and cycling trails, while the Moselsteig offers stunning views. For those who prefer a quieter pace, the Mosel can be discovered by boat or canoe, enjoying the landscape from the water. For a fee, a three-hour Mosel cruise including a wine tasting can be booked directly at the hotel. The area also has much to offer culturally. In addition to historical buildings like the old Senheim Church, the proximity to castles (e.g., Eltz Castle or Reichsburg Cochem) and regional attractions offers exciting variety. Golfers will find ideal conditions nearby, as the Cochem Golf Club (27-hole facility on the Mosel plateau, 18-hole Mosel Course, 9-hole Eifel Course, driving range & indoor golf simulator) is just a few kilometres away.
