Hotel Botánico welcomes you to a tranquil location on the verdant outskirts of Puerto de la Cruz, at the foot of the majestic Mount Teide and just steps away from the renowned Botanical Garden. Nestled within a sprawling, subtropical park with a picturesque pond (approximately 25,000 sqm), you will enjoy pure relaxation in the elegant La Paz villa district. The beautiful sandy beach is only about 1.5 km away and is easily accessible, either by a leisurely 10-minute walk or by the hotel's own shuttle bus, which operates several times daily (4x in the morning, 4x in the afternoon). Location & Surroundings

The north of Tenerife offers pleasantly mild spring temperatures all year round. Lush vegetation, volcanic landscapes, and views of Mount Teide characterise the surroundings. Puerto de la Cruz is a vibrant town offering numerous leisure activities, such as Loro Parque with its zoo and amusement park. The old town of Puerto de la Cruz, with its narrow streets, cafes, and quaint shops, is also worth a visit.

Dining & Leisure

The dining experience at the hotel combines international cuisine with regional products in a stylish setting. Several restaurants offer diverse culinary concepts - from Mediterranean specialties and Italian classics to finely tuned Asian cuisine.

The breakfast buffet featuring fresh dishes is served at "Palmera Real" with both indoor and outdoor seating. With half board, enjoy a 3-course à la carte dinner at one of the 4 specialty restaurants: international cuisine at "Palmera Real", Italian/Mediterranean at "Il Papagallo", Asian delights at "The Oriental", or Spanish cuisine at "La Parrilla". Optionally, dinner can be exchanged for lunch at "Palmera Real". The "Healthy Eating" option emphasizes nutritious dining. Children's menus are available upon request.
Additionally, Hotel Botánico boasts a bar with live music and a pool bar. "Brunelli's" steakhouse is located in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz by the water. A complimentary shuttle is available to the restaurant. As part of the half board, you receive a 25€ credit per person for the steakhouse.

Wellness & Spa

The Oriental Spa Garden (Access from age 16, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) is recognised as one of Europe's most prestigious hotel spas and has received multiple awards. Spanning approximately 3,500 sqm, it features 20 treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor pools with hydromassage and whirlpool, Japanese sauna, Turkish bath, Laconium, ice cave, sensorial showers, aromatherapy area, and relaxation zones with water beds.

Qualified therapists blend traditional rituals and ancient knowledge with modern technology. Massages are available both in the indoor treatment rooms and in outdoor cabanas.

For a fee, the hotel offers the following services: Personal training, private spa for couples, hydromassage, baths, various massages including outdoor oriental massages such as Shiatsu, Thai, Reiki, as well as beauty treatments (including hairdressing, manicure, pedicure) using products from Maria Galland, Thalgo, CV, Jeevan Ayurveda, and Sothys. Indulge in the expert care of our highly qualified professionals.

Ayurveda

The Ayurveda master has acquired her training and knowledge from renowned Ayurveda masters, including at the Academy of Ayurveda in India. With over 15 years of practice, she also trains new Ayurveda therapists. The international team of therapists she works with daily has completed their training under her guidance and received their diplomas. Personalised Ayurvedic treatments (according to Doshas Pitta, Vata, Kapha) using original Indian oils, massages, and more are offered during the Ayurveda week. Yoga and meditation practices are also integral parts of the Ayurveda week.

Fitness & Courses

In the gym, you will find modern fitness equipment. Additionally, fitness classes are available. A Yoga Master is present at the hotel during specific times, offering yoga classes and retreats.

Pool Area

Enjoy delightful hours of sunshine at the heated outdoor pool (approx. 27°C) complete with sun loungers and umbrellas. Additionally, you can access the indoor and outdoor pools in the spa area (from age 16).

Free Time

The hotel boasts 2 tennis courts (modernised, artificial grass with quartz sand) with floodlights and its own putting green (approximately 5,000 sqm) with bunker (complimentary use, subject to availability). Additionally, there is a table tennis table, a billiards table, and an entertainment programme is offered (subject to availability, charges may apply).
Nearby are the El Penon Golf Club (about 15 mins) and the 18-hole Buenavista Golf Course (about 40 mins), with green fee discounts available on request. Luxury boutique, business centre, and on-site car rental. Diving school, mountain biking, paragliding, and surfing are available nearby.

Heated children's pool. Botánico Adventure Academy for children (ages 4-14) with a play programme in collaboration with Loro Parque (subject to offers, prices and details on request). Babysitting available on request.

Hiking paradise Tenerife: Guided hikes of various difficulty levels can be booked at the hotel, for example, to Mount Teide or through the heather and laurel forests with stunning views.
