In just a few steps (approximately 150 meters), you can reach the magnificent therapy colonnade and the magical singing fountain, a popular highlight in the region. Named after the famous Russian writer Vladimir Nabokov, the hotel impresses with its unique architecture. It consists of seven historic buildings – Bristol, Imperial, Poeta, Aglaja, Credo, Davos, and Columbus. Each of these hotels tells its own story and blends harmoniously into the overall concept that masterfully combines tradition and modernity. A special highlight of the Grandhotel Nabokov is its first-class wellness centre, where classic Art Nouveau therapy architecture meets contemporary 21st-century design.

Location & Surroundings

Marienbad is the second largest spa town in the Czech Republic, rich in mineral springs. Thanks to the different chemical compositions of the local healing springs, Marienbad offers therapy treatments for a wide spectrum of diseases. In the town itself, 40 springs emerge, and in the nearby area, an incredible 100 mineral springs. The colonnades and pavilions, where the individual springs emerge, shape the picturesque spa atmosphere.

If you require specific dietary meals, the kitchen team will prepare your meals individually according to your specifications. Here, you can enjoy the hotel's elegant atmosphere while unwinding in peace. A real highlight is the charming Café Lolita. Here, you'll find delicious, homemade cakes prepared with love. Wellness & Spa

Two outstanding wellness centres invite you to leave everyday life behind and immerse yourself in a world of relaxation. The sauna area is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering herbal saunas, Finnish saunas, steam baths, and infrared cabins. The water world is available daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., providing a perfect blend of relaxation and vitality. The indoor pool (7 x 12 m, approx. 82°F) invites you to swim leisurely, and the whirlpool is perfect for soothing your tired muscles. The salt grotto is a special highlight of the wellness offerings. In the pleasantly salty air, you can breathe deeply and feel the positive effects on the respiratory system and immune system. Open daily from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. (for a fee, approx. 190 CZK/hour or €8 (approx. UK £7 / USD $9)), the salt grotto is a unique retreat. A fitness area (free, 6:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.) completes the offerings. Health & Treatments

The modern therapy clinic at the heart of the Grandhotel Nabokov features a professional doctor and medical staff. Traditional natural remedies such as mineral springs (forest spring for therapeutic baths, inhalations, Stanislav spring for drinking therapy), peat, medicinal gases, and healing climate are utilized for treatments. All therapies (Mon.-Sat.) are conducted in the hotel's own therapy department, tailored to the five primary needs of the guests: therapy, rehabilitation, renewal, rest, relaxation, and enjoyment. Offerings include mineral baths, peat wraps, dry carbon dioxide baths, paraffin wraps, relaxation massages, inhalations, electrotherapy, laser therapy, oxygen and magnetic therapy, ultrasound, gas injections (pneumopuncture), and biolamp treatments. Individual or group physiotherapy is available. Additional treatments include hot stone, reflexology, and aromatherapy massages. The clinic is also equipped with one of the most advanced systems for musculoskeletal treatment, the Super Inductive System (SIS), which is particularly effective for pain relief, muscle relaxation, muscle stimulation, and joint mobilization.

The well-maintained parks, the beautiful architecture, the beauty of the surrounding nature, the rich array of leisure activities, and not least the famous history – all make Marienbad a popular and frequently visited social hub. Annual highlights not to be missed include the Chopin Festival, Marienbad Autumn, and the Jazz and Film Festival. Visit Becov Castle, Königswart, Loket, or Tepla Monastery. The 18-hole Royal Golf Club Marienbad is about 3 km away, offering golf lessons.

Very courteous staff. Good quality treatments. The food was excellent. Sauna and swimming pool a little small for the large hotel. Excellent value for money.
