Location & Surroundings

Bentota is a popular holiday destination on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, approximately 40 miles south of Colombo. This location combines stunning sandy beaches, tropical nature, and cultural attractions. Fine sandy beaches and turquoise seas invite you to sunbathe, swim, and take long walks. The tranquil lagoon and Bentota River offer perfect conditions for boat rides, kayaking, and water sports. Bentota is also an excellent base for trips inland, such as to temples, spice gardens, or turtle farms.

In the restaurant by the pool, enjoy vegetarian, Ayurvedic dishes made with fresh ingredients. The vegetables for your Ayurvedic meals are primarily sourced from the hotel's own extensive vegetable and herb garden and the local area. A variety of fruits, freshly squeezed juices, and exotic spices ensure a diverse and delicious selection. Meals are served as a set menu and tailored to your body type. Occasionally, white fish or chicken is also served.

Ayurveda Center

The team of four qualified Ayurveda doctors and 20 therapists specializes in Panchakarma and provides attentive care in the Ayurveda Center, which features 17 treatment rooms. Additionally, an expert in aromatherapy and acupuncture supports the Ayurveda team. Following a comprehensive initial consultation with one of the Ayurveda doctors, your personalized treatment plan is crafted. The tailored Ayurveda treatments include head, face, body, and foot massages, or Shirodhara oil forehead flow. In the new, tranquil outdoor Yoga Shala, a certified Yoga Guru leads the Yoga and meditation program, enhancing the success of your Ayurveda therapy. For guests with mobility limitations, treatments can be arranged in a secluded area on the ground floor.

An outdoor pool, lounge area, and the tranquil garden invite you to relax. Excursions to temples, turtle farms, or boat trips on the Bentota River offer cultural and scenic variety. The expansive sandy beach of Bentota is just a few minutes away by tuk-tuk.

60 tastefully decorated Classic, Comfort, and Supreme double rooms, as well as 5 villas, all furnished with hardwood furniture. Each room and villa features air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a balcony, and is available for single use. The villas are idyllically situated directly by the natural pond, span two floors, and are equipped with a private whirlpool and massage area. In keeping with the distraction-free environment, the decision was made to consciously omit televisions from the room amenities. Wheelchair-accessible rooms available on request.
