With just seven rooms, the Ayuwaters Retreat offers personalised care and a warm, family-like atmosphere, perfect for a retreat, whether for Ayurveda therapy or simply to relax.
The charming two-storey cottages feature seven spacious rooms with stunning views of the Bentota River and ensure a highly personalised service due to the small number of guests. Located amidst the garden, the pool invites you to relax and unwind. A daily programme of yoga and meditation, additional Tai-Chi classes, and individual Ayurveda treatments and remedies contribute to holistic well-being. Two experienced Ayurveda doctors oversee the professional administration of treatments, making the retreat a perfect destination for both Ayurveda enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation without undergoing therapy.

The Ayurvedic, vegetarian meals for therapy guests are prepared buffet-style and are suitable for all doshas.
The Ayurveda Center offers holistic health programmes led by an experienced team of two Ayurveda doctors. In the three treatment rooms (each approximately 10 m²), traditional Ayurvedic treatments are performed, tailored to the individual needs of the guests.
In addition to the treatments, guests can enjoy an hour of yoga and meditation each morning. Additionally, evening meditation sessions are held three times a week and a Tai Chi class once a week. Other options such as sand therapy and acupuncture complete the offerings, supporting comprehensive physical and mental regeneration.
