Dining & Leisure
The vegetarian meals at Mandira adhere to the principles of Ayurvedic nutrition, tailored to the Doshas - Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Each dish is freshly and gently prepared to enhance digestion and boost well-being. Seasonal, regional, and largely organic ingredients ensure tasty, nourishing, and easily digestible meals. Ayurveda guests enjoy a personalised Ayurvedic vegetarian full board, aligned with their therapy program - whether it's Mandira-Ayurveda, Ayur-Detox, Rasa & Yana, or Panchakarma diet. The offerings include a diverse breakfast buffet with organic juice, herbal, and vegetable bars, a light vegetarian 2-course lunch with a salad buffet, sweet tea pastries in the afternoon, and a 4-course evening menu - optionally vegan, vegetarian, or with fish. For those who consciously enjoy meat, the Mandira à la carte menu features selected regional products (at an additional cost). Lactose-free and gluten-free meals, as well as special diets, are available upon request. Additionally, the resort boasts a cosy hotel bar and lounge with an art gallery, and Ganesha's Garden with a tea house.
Thermal Spa
The Thermal SPA spans approximately 2000 sqm and features an indoor pool with medicinal thermal water (about 32°C), a panoramic pool (about 32°C), an outdoor pool (year-round, 28°C) with loungers, a solarium, and a cardio fitness room. Guests can book various therapies and wellness treatments on-site, such as classic and Far Eastern massages (partial or full body, hot stone, or aromatic oil massage, reflexology. Lymph drainage, energy balancing massage), wraps, cosmetic treatments with Phyto5 products, as well as biofield testing and infusion therapy. The medicinal water (sodium bicarbonate chloride spa; 27 to 36°C) is particularly soothing for rheumatic complaints and aids in stress reduction and burnout prevention.
Ayurveda Center
At the Ayurveda Center, led by Ayurveda expert and managing director Christina Drexler, the team comprises several Ayurveda specialists and therapists, some from India, a resort doctor for conventional and alternative medicine, and a psychotherapist. With empathy and extensive expertise, the team supports guests in achieving individual health goals and promoting long-term well-being - a place where body, mind, and soul are harmonized. In addition to the 18 treatment rooms, the Ayurveda Center features a steam bath, a Styrian herbal, brine, and Celtic sauna, an ice grotto, an infrared sauna, and two relaxation rooms, Buddha's Place & Ganesha's Spirit. Rooms are a bit dated. No possibility to darken the room or to turn off the heat in strong sunlight. Cleanliness, there was nothing to complain about. Massages were excellent.
