In the exclusive ANA HEALTH SPA, spanning an impressive 2,000 sqm (open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., charges apply), you will find a comprehensive range of relaxation and health services: thermal water pool (approx. 31°C), whirlpool, Finnish sauna, steam bath, and fitness room.

The SPA also impresses with a wide array of treatments such as healing mud packs and baths, body wraps, ultrasound treatments, massages, and cutting-edge electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, laser therapy, mesotherapy, and anti-aging treatments. For your health and well-being, experienced physiotherapists and a doctor are available directly at the hotel. Thus, treatments can be tailored to your individual needs. The SPA uses high-quality products from renowned brands like Aslavital and Gerovital, known for their nurturing and regenerative properties.

Free Time

Visit the Tropaeum Traiani (60 km from Constanta), an ancient landmark reminiscent of the Trajan's Column. At the heart of Romanian Christianity lies the legendary St. Andrew's Cave - a beautiful stone-built church named after the man who introduced Christianity to the people along the northern shores of the Danube. Take a trip to the Histria Fortress - the oldest city in Romania, built in the 7th century according to Greek merchants from Miletus. This ancient city was discovered in 1914 by a renowned Romanian historian. It was one of the most important trading cities west of the Black Sea. The ruins of the Tomis Fortress - over 2,500 years ago, Greek sailors and merchants from Miletus built this settlement by the sea at the site of the city of Constanta. The fortress housed numerous temples and buildings, thermal baths, marble workshops, new streets and districts, some of which have been preserved and are visible throughout the city of Constanta today.

A unique concept unmatched along the entire coast: Ana Health Spa has developed an original concept for outdoor treatments and relaxation - the Techirghiol Pool, an outdoor therapy base offering an authentic healing and regeneration experience in harmony with nature.

The Techirghiol Pool is an area specifically designed for mud and saltwater therapies outdoors and is the only concept of its kind on the Romanian coast. It features a saltwater pool fed directly from Techirghiol Lake and heated constantly to 79°F to ensure optimal use in terms of comfort and therapeutic effectiveness. Additionally, the area offers special loungers for mud massages, amphoras for therapeutic mud treatments, 12 individual saltwater bathtubs, and relaxation areas with comfortable sun loungers. The entire complex is designed to provide a complete outdoor spa experience, enhancing the benefits of natural resources through direct contact with nature.

The originality of the Techirghiol Pool concept lies in how traditional mud and saltwater therapies are integrated into a contemporary wellness environment. Previously associated exclusively with standardized medical procedures, these treatments are now embedded in a comprehensive experience of relaxation, regeneration, and self-discovery at Ana Health Spa.

The entire complex is designed to offer a complete outdoor spa treatment experience. This area is open for treatments from mid-June to September, depending on weather conditions.

The Aqua Salty Delight area is a unit and includes the indoor pool with saltwater from Techirghiol Lake (heated to 93°F), sauna, and Jacuzzi - thus, a uniform price applies for the entire area.

The Legend of the Mud

Techirghiol, a city unique worldwide, is renowned for its special natural conditions, making it a prestigious spa destination. Since 1899, it has been a popular choice for therapeutic treatments, not only due to its mild climate but also because of the sapropelic mud and the saline water of Techirghiol Lake, famous for their healing properties.

The legend explaining the healing power of Techirghiol's mud dates back to a mystical tale. An old man, who was lame and blind, was travelling with his donkey around the lake. By chance, they stumbled into the thick mud of Techirghiol Lake. The man struggled desperately to free himself, but the donkey, drawn by a strange force, refused to leave the mud. Despite the old man's relentless efforts to escape, the donkey remained calm, as if sensing the mud's healing effects.

After the old man finally managed to free himself, he discovered that he had almost completely lost his blindness and was able to feel faint movements in his legs. The donkey, previously plagued by painful wounds, was left scar-free, and its condition was remarkably improved. Both, man and donkey, had experienced unexplainable healings through the mysterious mud of the lake.

This story spread quickly, and more and more people began visiting Techirghiol Lake. They bathed in the mud and used it as an ointment, hoping to alleviate their own physical ailments. The results were often astonishing: the lame began to walk, stiff joints became mobile again, women facing fertility issues conceived once more, and those with respiratory diseases found relief. Numerous "miracles" occurred, and Techirghiol Lake earned its reputation as a healing source.

Thus, Techirghiol Lake became not only a geographical landmark but also a legendary sanctuary, still drawing many from around the world to experience the healing power of nature.

Very friendly and competent advice from the SpaDreams team. Very nice and well-kept spa hotel, the best on the Romanian Black Sea coast. The whole hotel staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast is very rich and well assorted. The rooms are large, clean and with a great view. But the best is the spa area with a wide range of treatments (balneotherapy, medical massages, physical therapy, physiotherapy). After a very thorough examination by the doctor, the best treatments are selected for each patient. A big compliment to Dr. Mihaela Cucu, who does a very, very good and valuable job with her team. Thank you very much!
